NEW ROSS - Funeral services were conducted at 9:30 a.m. today at Danville, Ill., for Mrs. Margery Engle, New Ross. She died Saturday in Lake View Hospital at Danville, where she had been a patient since Dec. 10. Burial was in New Ross Cemetery. Born Aug. 7, 1898, at Danville, she was a daughter of James and Anna Rogers Stockley. She was married Oct. 18, 1919, at Covington to Edward C. Engle. He survives. Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Emmett (Margaret) Bishop, New Ross, and Mrs. Miller (Lucille) Port, Lafayette, a brother, Robert Stockley, New Lenox, Ill.; two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Hoskins, Danville, and Mrs. Ruby Bryan, Denver; four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. A family spokesman said memorials may be in the form of donations to the New Ross Christian Church Building Fund. - jlr
